Welcome to the JWBS

For over a century the Jewish Women’s Benevolent Society has been caring for the elderly and indigent members of our community with compassion, kindness, and dignity by providing clothing, food, companionship, tertiary education, and entertainment. Being a volunteer-run, not for profit organization the JWBS relies solely on the generosity of the community to cover operating costs and provide funding for various initiatives. Every initiative undertaken by the JWBS is aimed at improving the lives of the men, women and children we assist.
