For over a century, the Jewish Women’s Benevolent Society has been dedicated to uplifting the most vulnerable members of the Johannesburg Jewish community. 

Today the JWBS’s mission remains unwavering as it strives to improve the lives of its beneficiaries through its 3 core initiatives: clothing the community, empowering through tertiary education grants, and providing essential healthcare — all with dignity, care, compassion and the vital support of our generous community.
